10 Call Transfer
You can transfer an ongoing call to a third party.
A call can be transferred in any of the following three modes:
l Blind transfer
A call is transferred to a third party directly without waiting for the third-party to start
ringing.
l Semi-consult transfer (for UC2.X only)
A call is transferred to a third party after the phone of the third party rings.
l Consult transfer
A call is transferred to a third party after the third party answers the call.
NOTE
l Before enabling the call transfer service for a number, ensure that the number has been assigned at
least two calls and that there are idle calls.
l If call transfer fails, you can tap Resume to resume your call.
Blind Transfer
Step 1 Tap Transfer during a call.
The call is placed on hold.
Step 2 Enter a number and tap .
NOTE
You can also select a number from the contact list, call history, or favorites list and then tap .
