You can use a power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power your IP phone:
l Power adapter: Insert one end of the power adapter into the power port on your IP phone
and insert the other end into a power outlet.
l PoE: Connect your IP phone to a switch that provides PoE.
1.11 Sleep and Restart
Tap and hold
for 2s. Then tap Sleep or Reboot. Tap and hold for 5s. Then the IP
phone automatically goes to sleep.
1.12 Safe Mode
In safe mode, the system will not start any third-party applications or related files (mainly APK
application files), excluding those installed by default. Therefore, you cannot use them.
However, you can uninstall or manage applications using the task manager for Android devices.
To access the safe mode of your phone, hold + and - volume buttons before the Huawei logo is
displayed during the phone startup, until the home screen of the phone is displayed.
1.13 Energy Conservation
Putting your IP phone to sleep or reducing the screen brightness saves energy.
l To put your IP phone to sleep
1. Tap
. On the APPLICATION tab, tap Settings.
2. In the DEVICE area, tap Display > Sleep.
3. Set the amount of time before your idle IP phone automatically goes to sleep.
l To adjust the screen brightness
1. Tap
. On the APPLICATION tab, tap Settings.
2. In the DEVICE area, tap Display > Brightness.
3. Set an appropriate brightness.
NOTE
You can enable the IP phone to automatically adjust its brightness by tapping Display > Auto
Brightness. Set the amount of time before your idle IP phone automatically adjusts its brightness.
1.14 Maintenance
Periodically clean and maintain your IP phone so that it can function properly for a long time.
l A protective film on the phone screen can effectively prevent dust and scratch.
