Introduction to Water Fire Extinguishing
In the lithium battery scenario, a water re extinguisher is pre-integrated in
the pre-fab. module, and a water nozzle and water re extinguishing pipe
network are congured to cover the projection area of the entire lithium
battery cabinet. A threaded pipe port is reserved at the pipe outlet to connect
to the external water re extinguishing system. The diameter of the main pipe
is DN32, and that of the branch pipe is DN25. (The nozzle ow coecient K is
80, and the nozzle operating pressure is greater than or equal to 0.2 MPa.)
The ECC800-Pro starts the ventilation fan when the lithium battery thermal
runaway occurs in the pre-fab. module, a large amount of combustible gas is
generated, and the in-room carbon monoxide (CO) sensor detects that the CO
concentration is greater than or equal to 80 ppm. If the lithium battery
thermal runaway causes a re, re extinguishing water can be introduced
through the connection between the external threaded pipe port and the
external water re extinguishing system to cool the lithium battery and put
out the re.
