REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
Transient protection diode
There is a transient voltage suppression
diode on model year 2008. It protects the
electric system against induced line surges,
which may arise when the relay switches on
or off. The diode is connected between the
main power relay and chassis. It can be
mounted aftermarket on older machines,
see figure.
