Removing and Replacing the Audio Cable Assembly
Use the following steps to remove the audio cable:
1. Perform the cover removal procedure. Refer to “Removing and Replacing the
Cover” on page 28.
2. Disconnect the audio cable connector from the rear of the drive in Bay B.
3. Remove the screw that secures the torroid to the bottom of the enclosure
chassis.
4. Remove the screw ( 1 in Figure 27) that secures the external audio jacks to
the rear of the 7212 Storage Enclosure chassis.
5. Guide the cable out of the enclosure.
To replace the audio cable, reverse this procedure.
