Removing
and
Replacing
the
SCSI
Address
Cables
Use
the
following
steps
to
remove
the
SCSI
address
cables:
1.
Perform
the
cover
removal
procedure.
Refer
to
“Removing
and
Replacing
the
Cover”
on
page
28.
2.
Disconnect
the
SCSI
address
cable
connector
from
the
rear
of
the
drive.
3.
Press
the
sides
of
the
SCSI
address
bracket
that
secures
the
cable
to
the
rear
of
the
enclosure
chassis.
4.
With
the
side
clips
of
the
bracket
pressed,
push
the
bracket
and
cable
out
through
the
back
of
the
7212
Storage
Enclosure
chassis.
5.
Guide
the
cable
out
of
the
enclosure.
Note:
Some
of
the
internal
components
are
not
shown
in
the
following
illustration
in
order
to
more
clearly
show
locations
referenced.
To
replace
the
SCSI
address
cable,
reverse
this
procedure.
Note:
Ensure
that
the
address
switch
is
installed
correctly,
in
the
upright
position.
