WORK
SCRUBBING WITHOUT DRYING (50D versions)
To carry out “SCRUBBING WITHOUT DRYING” tasks, proceed as
follows:
1. Make all the checks indicated in “STARTING WORK (B
VERSION)”.
2. Lower the brush head unit by pressing the brush head control
pedal (1) on the back of the appliance (Fig.1).
3. Activate the brush head gearmotor using the brush control switch
(2) (Fig.2).
4. By activating the dead man's lever (3), the machine will start to
move (Fig.3).
5. Activate the supply of detergent solution by pressing the switch
(4) on the control panel (Fig.4).
6. Check the detergent solution tap is fully open. If it isn't, turn the
lever (5) on the back of the appliance (Fig.5).
DRYING (50D versions)
To carry out “DRYING” tasks, proceed as follows:
1. Make all the checks indicated in “STARTING WORK (B
VERSION)”.
2. Lower the squeegee unit by means of the lever (1) on the back of
the appliance (Fig.1).
3. By activating the dead man's lever (2), the machine will start to
move (Fig.2).
4. Activate the vacuum motor by pressing the relevant switch (3) on
the control panel (Fig.3).
The machine will now work at its maximum efciency level until the
batteries run down.
ATTENTION: if the dead man's lever is released during the
drying operation, the vacuum motor will continue working for
another few seconds so that all the liquid in the vacuum hose
can be removed.
7. During the rst few metres, check that the detergent solution
is suitable for the work to be carried out. If it isn't, make the
necessary changes after reading the “ADJUSTING THE
DETERGENT SOLUTION (VERSIONS WITHOUT CDS)”
paragraph.
The appliance will now begin to work with full efciency until the
battery is at or until the detergent solution has nished. During the
rst few metres, check that there is sufcient solution.
ATTENTION: if the dead man's lever is released during the
scrubbing and drying operation, the brush motor and solenoid
valve will stop working. To resume work, just press the dead
man's levers.
ATTENTION: by pulling the detergent solution ow adjustment
knob downwards, the amount of solution in the water system
will increase (Fig.5).
The drying without scrubbing operation
should only be carried out if beforehand the
device was used to carry out scrubbing
without drying.
