6.7 How Do I Connect The Print Signal?

Both the ICE Torus 126 and 500 are supplied with an integral product sensor, located on the

front of the product, directly above the printhead. Please see illustration below.

This sensor allows ‘out of the box operation’ with no additional interfacing required. However, it

is highly recommended to use the optional external product sensor to allow activation of the

self-cleaning printhead mode.

A connector for an external product sensor is located on the side of the ICE Torus, please see

above illustration.

ICE Torus printers can be configured to print by a variety of methods:-

Integral product sensor

Optional retro-reflective sensor, part number - 402277

Diffuse print sensor, part number - 402276

or via volt-free/24V contacts accessible with the optional I/O cable, part number - 402274.

As standard, the default settings are:-
