•To use the [AGC] socket for AF output
Change the internal jumper plug as illustrated at
right.
•The output is obtained for FM mode only.
•Usable for 9600 bps only.
•Refer to p. 37 for a description of opening the case.
➀ Connect a terminal unit as above.
➁ Select FM mode (or USB, CW modes for HF band
data communications).
➂ Set the receiver to the desired frequency as below.
➃ Set the connected terminal unit to the appropriate
settings.
•Refer to the terminal unit’s instructions.
•For high speed data (9600 bps) reception in FM mode
•For regular speed data (1200 bps or lower) reception in any mode
Frequency settings depend on the mode used.
FM mode:
[Setting frequency(displayed freq.)]=[Desired freq.]
USB mode:
[Setting frequency(displayed freq.)]=[Desired freq.]–[Center of Mark and Space freq.]
CW narrow mode:
[Setting frequency(displayed freq.)]=[Desired freq.]–[Center of Mark and Space freq.]+[600 Hz]
LSB mode (for amateur RTTY):
[Setting frequency(displayed freq.)]=[Desired freq.]+[Mark freq.]
