Method 2: Using a surveyor’s stake as the reference point
• Place the tip of the bucket on the reference
point and press the “Elevation” button.
• Enter 2.50’ as the height from the bottom
of the trench.
• Click on the green check mark to validate.
• The bucket position is now 2.5’ above your
desired depth.
