System Doesn’t Recognize a Sensor During the Initial Open/Close Routine
• Check the Sensor in the Sensor Check menu.
• Re-pair the Sensor to the system.
• Change the radio channel.
• Re-boot the system.
Machine Element Lengths are Way Off After Calibration
• Definition:
• A variance of 10% or more of the calculated element lengths to the actual measured lengths is “way off”.
• Sensor detection procedure:
• Make sure that the Sensor SIDE detection actually detected the correct side.
• If the machine has a 2
nd
boom:
• It’s important to change the angle between the main boom & 2
nd
boom significantly after each laser pointer shot without repetition of
certain angular orientations.
• Laser Pointer:
• The unit’s laser dot should not blink during the calibration procedure.
• Check the unit’s calibration to make sure that the laser dot is really horizontal.
• Extension poles used:
• Make sure that NO pole has been used for the 1
st
lower level laser pointer shots.
• Make sure that BOTH poles have been used for the 2
nd
higher level laser pointer shots.
