Check if the small green LED on the Sensor PCB is blinking after being attached to the support plate:
Yes, its blinking:
The small green LED on the Sensors PCB should blink once per second (1 Hz):
If the small green LED only blinks once every 10 seconds it means that the sensor has switched on but can’t communicate with the
system.
The Sensor is still not assigned/paired to/with the system. Release the sensor again from the plate, wait a MINIMUM of 5 second,
enter the Sensor Check menu and click on the appropriate element and then place the Sensor back on the support plate.
Re-boot the entire system.
No, its not blinking:
The Sensor battery is empty. Charge the Sensor in direct daylight (not behind a window!) or use the optional solar Sensor charger
and then try again.
Check the small magnet on the support plate. It should not be corroded or broken. Try the Sensor on a different support plate.
If you’re using (for a short-term demonstration of the system) a magnetic back plate instead of screws or the 3M tape, try again
without the magnetic back plate. If the sensor switches on this time, release the magnetic back plate from the support plate,
rotate it 180°, and fix it again to the support plate. One of the magnetic back plate’s magnets neutralized the magnetism of the
small support plate’s magnet.
