River Mode
Since the iDig sensors communicate via RF, the Bucket
Sensor will lose connection when it is submerged more
than 3 ft under water. To compensate for this you can
activate the following by pressing:
• Underwater mode disabled – Default position
• Shortest distance – The moment the Bucket Sensor
signal is lost, the system automatically considers and
calculates the bucket open-close position in such a
way that the tip/edge is the closest from the slope or
the level surface until the signal is restored. This way
the operator knows the minimum possible distance
between the tip/edge of the bucket and the ground
when you close the bucket.
• Last orientation – The moment the Bucket Sensor
signal is lost, the system automatically considers and
calculates the bucket always being in the same
orientation as when the signal was lost.
