The Laser Catch Doesn’t Get (or can’t be) Confirmed
The system only validates a laser catch if all Sensors have stabilized within a certain tolerance range.
Check in the Sensor Check menu if one or more radio sensor values are frozen or the 2D yaw value is “running. A certain “flickeringis
normal.
Frozen radio sensor value:
Re-pair the sensor to the system.
Change the radio channel.
Running 2D yaw (rotation) value:
The 2D Sensor received a heavy shock, e.g. it got clipped onto the suppor plate AFTER system boot.
Enter the Basic Settings, Sensor Check. Click on “2D Tare” several times.
Check in the Sensor Check menu if the laser receivers reception of the laser beam is normal, or if the beam disappears even if its on the
reception field.
If the laser reception is unsteady:
Check for beam reflection.
Check your rotating laser, e.g. via a cross check with the hand held detector.
Check for a 2
nd
rotating laser close-by on almost the same level.
Re-pair the Sensor to the system.
Change the radio channel.
Check in the Sensor Check the indications on the sensors laser cell, e.g. if the system sees a 2
nd
laser beam.
