BEFORE STARTING OPERATION
The operator of the machine must carry out these
inspections before starting the engine at the beginning of
daily works.
Be sure to carry out them to prevent accidents in advance.
Walk-around inspection
Look around and under the machine and check the items
shown below.
Repair defective parts before starting operation.
• Check oil leak from the hydraulic devices, hydraulic oil
tank, hose, joints, etc.
• Check damages of the fuel line and hose.
• Check damages, cracks, wear, backlash and loose
bolts of the shoes, idle tumblers and sprockets.
• Check oil leak and water leak from the engine.
• Remove dust and foreign matters from the engine,
radiator and peripheral parts.
If flammable objects touch the exhaust pipe or the like,
a fire may break out. Make sure that there is no
withered grass, paper trash or other flammable objects
near the exhaust pipe.
• Check loose terminals of the electrical cables.
Start-up inspection
Refer to [MAINTENANCE] for details.
• Check the coolant quantity. Refill if necessary.
• Check the engine oil quantity. Refill if necessary.
• Check the fuel quantity. Refill if necessary.
• Check the hydraulic oil quantity. Refill if necessary.
• Check the dust indicator.
