Pre-Use Check
Before each use of the Applicator, the device must pass the following:
▪ Check to ensure proper cleaning and drying of the Applicator.
▪ Inspect all components of the Applicator for visible damage
8.5 Pre-Treatment Recommendations
During the patient’s first visit the treating attendant should:
▪ Complete or update the patient’s medical and physical history.
▪ Exclude from treatment anyone with the listed contraindications.
▪ Determine why the patient is seeking treatment and what his/her
expectations are.
▪ Inform the patient about treatment arrangement, typical treatment
results and possible side effects and discomfort.
▪ Instruct the patient about the safety warnings.
▪ The patient should discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days
prior to treatment and if medically permitted, anticoagulants should be
stopped 1-2 weeks prior treatment.
▪ Clean the treatment area, remove creams/lotions and makeup, and dry
the skin.
▪ Photograph the patient.
▪ Clean the parts of the Applicator those come in contact with the skin
with 70% alcohol.
Long and dense hairs may affect the treatment and may be shaved
according to physician’s discretion.
