Performing Actuator Tests for a Selected Module
Actuator Tests let you perform active tests for various vehicle actuators
and systems. The specific tests available depend on the vehicle make
and model.
1. Select the module for which you wish to perform actuator tests (see
SCANNING AND TESTING A SELECTED MODULE on page 38).
2. Tap Actuator Test in the “Actions” menu.
The tablet retrieves and displays a menu of actuator tests
available for the vehicle under test.
If Actuator Tests are not supported for the vehicle under
test, the message “Actuator Test is not supported for this
vehicle” displays. Tap Exit to return to the “Actions” menu.
3. Choose the desired test.
The tablet may display one or more instructional screen to
prepare the vehicle for testing.
4. Prepare the vehicle for testing, as necessary.
The tablet displays a “control” screen for operating the actuator.
