Starch deposits at the bottom of the inner pot may have blocked heat dissipation. Turn the multicooker off, release pressure according to the recipe, and inspect the bottom of the inner pot. Also, pressure may have accumulated during a non-pressure cooking program. Turn the steam release handle to the Venting position.
