— 82554 based LAN adapter or LOM design as Unit Under Test gigconf.exe test software
can be used to force A0 82554 to transmit random data.
— An 82559 LAN adapter (Albany) was installed in a PII desktop PC, and was running
phyconf.exe rev 5.10 Beta 5. phyconf.exe was used to force the 825444 UUT to transmit
100Base-TX scrambled idles.
