The LAN subsystem includes the Intel

The 82573E Gigabit Ethernet Controller supports Alert Standard Format (ASF) 2.0 and
Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT).
1.11.2 RJ-45 LAN Connector with Integrated LEDs
Two LEDs are built into the RJ-45 LAN connector (shown in Figure 12 below).
