2.2 Safety Regulations
Electrical Safety:
This audiometer is specified to comply with the international standard IEC 60601-1.
This audiometer is guaranteed according to IEC 60601-1 safety against electrical hazard only when the
connected notebook/computer is powered by batteries or the computers power supply complies with IEC
60601-1 safety regulations.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected to supply
mains with protective earth."
This audiometer is not suitable for operation in an oxygen rich environment, in conjunction with flammable
agents or flammable anesthetics.
