Understanding the Connectors on the CV30
Use this manual to understand how to use the features and
options available on the CV30. For a complete list of accessories
available for the CV30, see “Accessories for the CV30” on
page 94.
CV30 Connector Descriptions
Connector Description
Power Connects the CV30 to an AC or DC/DC power
supply.
AUX Connects USB devices to the CV30. You can
purchase a single or double USB cable assembly
that attaches to the AUX connector and turns the
port into one or two USB host connectors. You can
also purchase a developer USB cable that turns the
port into a USB 1.1 Client connection.
COM3 Connects the CV30 to other RS-232 devices such
as PCs or printers.
COM1 Connects the CV30 to other RS-232 devices such
as PCs or printers.
Ethernet Connects the CV30 to 10BaseT/100BaseT full
duplex standard Ethernet interfaces.
