To set up Bluetooth communications with a scanner
1 Make sure that the PW50 is not connected to a serial cable.
2 Download and install EasySet on your host PC.
3 Create the following bar code labels using EasySet:
• Administrator reset factory defaults
• Bluetooth parameters - security - not active
• Bluetooth parameters - connect/disconnect - compose BT
address
• Bluetooth parameters - security - compose PIN
4 Scan the bar code labels with the Bluetooth scanner.
Setting Up Serial Communications
Before you can establish a serial connection, you need to make sure
that the settings on the PC match the settings on the PW50.
