3.4Parkingbrakes
Theparkingbrakesareusedtoimmobilizethewheelchair
whenitisstationarytopreventitfromrollingaway.
WARNING!
Riskofoverturningifyoubrakesharply
Ifyouengagetheparkingbrakeswhileyouare
moving,thedirectionofmovementcanbecome
uncontrollableandthewheelchairmaystop
suddenly,whichcanleadtoacollisionortoyou
fallingout.
–Neverengagetheparkingbrakeswhileyouare
moving.

–Theparkingbrakesmustbeoperated

1.Toengagethebrake,pushthebrakeleverforwardswith
thepalmasfaraspossible.
2.Todisengagethebrake,pullthebrakeleverbackwards
withthelowngers.
