–Whenthemotorsaredisengaged(for
pushoperationwhilstfreewheeling),the
electromagneticmotorbrakesaredeactivated.
Whenthemobilitydeviceisparked,thelevers
forengaginganddisengagingthemotors
mustwithoutfailbelockedrmlyintothe
"DRIVE"position(electromagneticmotorbrakes
activated).
Themotorsmayonlybedisengagedbyanattendant,
notbytheuser.
Thisensuresthatthemotorsareonlydisengagedif
anattendantisavailabletosecurethewheelchair
andpreventunintendedrolling.
Eachmotoristtedwithanengagingturnknobwhichis
usedtoengageordisengagethemotor .
Disengagingthemotor:
1.Switchoffremote.
2.TurntheengagingturnknobAclockwise.
Themotorisdisengaged.
Engagingthemotor:
1.TurntheengagingturnknobAcounterclockwise.
Themotorisengaged.
Bothmotorsmustalwaysbeengagedbefore
driving!
