Lift top shell slowly as it is attached by a connector.
Carefully disconnect the connector from Roomba.

Clean off the internal dirt with compressed air.

Unscrew string mount and keep the string attached to
the holder. Disconnect the string mount from the
chassis.

Disconnect debris sensor connector (gray wires)

Disconnect brush motor connector (red/black wires)
