UFER Power Factor
This register is calculated at the end of UFER Interval, based on Active Energy and UFER Reactive Energy.
It is used as base for UFER and DMCR calculation.
Limit Power Factor
UFER excess energy and DMCR excess demand are based on a specific excess energy calculated when
the current power factor is under a power factor threshold. This limit power factor is programmable.
Note: The function UFER is not available on SL764 variant
6.15.2. ABNT Protocol
The ABNT protocol is available (and configurable) only if the UFER is activated and if the resources (I/O board)
are different than no input/output.
The meter is able to send a data block through a control ouput port according to the specifications of the ABNT
(Brazilian Association of Technical Regulations).
Two modes are available in IEC7:
Normal
Extended
An optical cable is connected to the meter in order to communicate with demand control external devices. This
optical cable is connected to a pulse output (to emit the signal) and to pulse inputs (to get power supply needed
for the LED).
The reserved pulse output depends on the I/O board configuration:
Pulse output 6 on a Full I/O board
Pulse output 2 on a Light I/O board
The pulse inputs 1 and 2 are always reserved for ABNT protocol.
Thus, when the ABNT protocol is activated, the following reserved I/O shall be not affected in the meter
configuration (software configuration tool management).
Note: The ABNT Protocol is not available on SL764 variant
