The meter is equipped with a front-panel mounted, high-visibility, liquid crystal display (LCD) capable of showing
the values held in all billing and other registers, as well as configuration and other information displays.
The meter configuration defines which displays are available to the user, the resolution of those displays and the
order in which parameters appear. The configuration for any individual meter will initially be defined during
manufacture according to the utility requirements. However, it may subsequently be changed using the meter
support tool.
8.1. Displays and annunciators
The LCD comprises three main alphanumeric character displays, these represent:

A range of annunciator icons are used to identify the current meter display mode and provide indication of
various conditions.
Displays the currently selected energy quantity or parameter value. This display is
configurable (see example below).

Displays the energy rate allocated to the current energy channel.
If there is more than one energy channel configured with the same quantity the current
rate of the first channel reached is displayed.
This icon is permanently lit when the alternate long list display mode is active and
flashes when the alternate short list display mode is active.
Displays the associated OBIS code (if applicable) for the energy quantity or meter
parameter currently displayed in the LCD.
The following range of energy units can be displayed:
