GENERAL NOTES AND WARNINGS
must be carried out
exclusively by a specialised technician informed about the relave
hazards and prescripon, in compliance with the regulaons in force
and in observance of the manufacturer's instrucons.
Use the protecve devices and equipment envisaged.
BEFORE CARRYING OUT INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
VEHICLE BATTERY AND TO EVERY OTHER SOURCE OF ENERGY. FAILURE
TO OBSERVE THIS PRESCRIPTION WILL RESULT IN EXPOSURE TO THE
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY CAUSED BY MOVING PARTS
If the electric wires pass through walls with sharp edges, use
protecve hoses or specic channelling.
Tightly fasten the electric wires in place, paying parcular
aenon to their route along metal walls that conduct electricity; also
avoid contact with sharp parts.
Connect the system to the vehicle power supply, protecng the system
with a fuse.
Always use two spanners when opening or closing the ngs of the
cooling circuit in order to balance the torque.
WARRANTY
The O.E. parts, with the excepon of the electrical components, are
idened with numeric references higher than one hundred .
Doed alphabec references idenfy parts of a ready-
assembled supply.
The indicaons that refer to RIGHT and LEFT are related to the driver of
the vehicle facing the direcon of travel.
Use the system only for the purpose indicated by the manufacturer
and abstain from making arbitrary changes or transformaons to the
appliance. The Manufacturer will NOT apply the warranty to systems
that have been altered or transformed.
The system is not designed for use in potenally explosive
environments.
The system is not designed for use in a saline environment.
During the assembly phases, when drilling into the vehicle parts, take
care not to damage wiring or hoses of previously installed systems.
CAREFULLY SEAL EVERY HOLE MADE IN THE VEHICLE WALLS USING A
SUITABLE PRODUCT.
The hoses must be carefully posioned, avoiding ght bends, sharp
edges or metal sheeng which could damage them.
It is extremely important to avoid siphons along the whole length of
the pipes.
During operaons that involve the , you
should be aware that:
- when close to sources of heat, it produces an unpleasant smelling gas
which irritates the eyes and respiratory system
- you must never use a ame to heat a circuit containing coolant
because it is easily inammable
- in its liquid state, coolant evaporates upon contact with the
atmosphere and freezes everything it touches.
In the event of freezing:
- . If there is no water
available, wrap the frozen part gently in a clean cloth.
If the coolant comes into contact with the eyes, rinse them thoroughly
with clean water and seek your doctor's advice.
The oil contained in the system is inammable.
SURE THAT THERE ARE NO RESIDUAL TRACES OF COOLANT INSIDE THE
SYSTEM.
Open the system and recover the coolant, waing for all of it
to run out.
CAUTION: SOME PARTS OF THE SYSTEM MAY CONTAIN OIL THAT CAN
BURST INTO FLAME EVEN IN THE ABSENCE OF COOLANT.
Avoid contact with synthec oils. Wash thoroughly aer contact.
Dispose of packaging materials in compliance with the laws in force,
separang them if recycling services are available.
