Threading the Machine
• Threading the machine
* Raise the presser foot lifter.
* Press the up/down needle position key twice to raise
the needle.
q Up/down position key
w Presser foot lifter
z Draw the thread around the upper thread guide.
e Upper thread guide
x Then, down around the check spring holder.
r Check spring holder
c Firmly draw the thread from right to left over the take-
up lever and down into the take-up lever eye.
t Thread take-up lever
v Then, down through the lower thread guide.
y Lower thread guide
b Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide on
the left.
Thread the needle from front to back or use the needle
threader.
