Attaching the Straight Stitch Needle Plate
Use the straight stitch needle plate for embroidery.
Raise the needle and presser foot. Press the lockout key.

Remove the extension table.
Push down the needle plate release lever and the needle
plate will snap off.
A message will appear warning that the needle plate is
not secured.
Remove the needle plate.

Place the straight stitch needle plate in the opening for
the needle plate.
Match the left edge of the needle plate with the opening.
Push the mark on the needle plate down until it locks in
place.
The warning message disappears and a conrmation
message will appear.
Press the X key and the machine automatically selects
the straight stitch.
NOTE
:
Raise the presser foot to the extra lifted position for easy
removal and attachment of the needle plate.
