(I) Up/Down/Tie O
The arrow buons can assist in creang e o stches,
basng, or needle-posioning funcons without the use
of the foot pedal. Pressing and releasing the arrow buon
quickly will send the needle to the next needle stop posion.
If the needle is up, pressing the buon will cause the needle
to move to the down posion. If the needle is down, it will
return to the up posion.
Pressing and holding the blue arrow buon for a longer
me creates a full stch. The needle will connue to cycle
while holding the arrow buon and stop when the buon
is released. This acon is useful for eing o beginning and
ending stches.

The Machine is in Regulated Mode when the R is blue.

Stches Per Inch (SPI)
Pressing the “+” or “-” buons in the mid le poron of
the screen will increase or decrease the stches per inch
(SPI) seng. The seng is reected in the white indicator
box between the “+” and “-” buons. The value can be
adjusted between 4 and 22 stches per inch.
Basng Stches
There are four basng stch sengs controlled by the
stches per inch funcon. Aer the SPI reaches its lowest
seng of 4 stches per inch, pressing the “-” buon will
acvate the basng sengs:
• 0.5-inch baste (one stch every half-inch movement of the fabric over the table)
• 1-inch baste (one stch every one inch movement of the fabric over the table)
• 2-inch baste (one stch every two inches of movement of the fabric over the table)
• 4-inch baste (one stch for every four inches of movement of the fabric over the table)
Aer selecng the basng stch seng, begin quilng by pressing the Play buon or by pressing down
on the foot pedal. As the fabric moves across the table, the machine will perform a stch (needle down
and needle up) every half inch, one inch, two inches or four inches.
The stch regulaon mode (Precision or Cruise) which is selected will be indicated by the buon
being blue.
