Checking the Oil Level - Yanmar Engine
1 Park the machine on level ground.
2 Stop the engine.
3 Allow time for the oil to drain back into the engine
sump before taking a reading. If insufficient time is
given a false low reading may be recorded which will
result in overfilling the engine.
4 Open the engine cover (if fitted).
5 Unscrew filler cap A and check the level of oil which
should between the top of the filler hole and the min.
mark on the dipstick attached to the filler plug.
6 If the oil level is low add recommended oil up to the
top of the filler hole K
Lubricants and
Capacities ( T 3-8).

!MWARNING
Hot oil and engine components can burn you. Make
sure the engine is cool before doing this job.
Used engine crankcase lubricants contain harmful
contaminants. In laboratory tests it was shown that
used engine oils can cause skin cancer.
