Checking the Oil Level - Lombardini
Engine
1 Park the machine on level ground.
2 Stop the engine.
3 Allow time for the oil to drain back into the engine
sump before taking a reading. If insufficient time is
given a false low reading may be recorded which will
result in overfilling the engine.
4 Open the engine cover (if fitted).
5 Withdraw the dipstick A and wipe it clean. Re-insert
the dipstick and withdraw again to check the oil level
which should be up to the max mark.
6 If the oil level is low unscrew filler cap B and add
recommended oil K
