Battery Removal and Replacement

Removal - from machine no. 1360212
1 Park the vehicle on firm level ground. Raise the skip
and fit the safety strut to the lift ram K Safety
Strut ( T 3-10). Stop the engine and remove the
ignition key.
2 Unscrew three bolts C and remove the main battery
cover D.
3 Disconnect the earth lead first followed by the positive
lead.
4 Remove wing nuts E and battery strap F and remove
the battery.
Replacement - from machine no.
1360212
Replacement is a reversal of the removal sequence with
the following additions.
1 Do not over tighten wing nuts E.
2 When reconnecting the battery cables, connect the
earth lead last.
