press the center of the button at right angles to the
button. Then tighten the setscrews.

to make early the opening of the
button support rubber when button clamp attaching base
goes up. Move it in the direction
to retard
the opening of the button support rubber. The standard adjustment is to adjust so that the button support
rubber starts opening when button clamp attaching base
has gone up by 1 mm.
