Adjustment Procedure
Results of Improper Adjustment
Checking items:

Throat plate
❷
Cloth plate, rear cover
❸
Cloth plate, front cover
* Check to make sure that the clearances between throat plate
❶
and
cloth plate front cover
❸
are 0 to 0.5 mm (A) and 0 to 0.8 mm (B).
* Check to make sure that the clearances between cloth plate rear
cover
❷
and cloth plate front cover
❸
is 0 to 1 mm (C).
How to perform adjustment:
○
Loosen the setscrews (E) of the cloth plate hinge (D).
○
Move cloth plate front cover
❸
to the correct position using the cloth
plate hinge (D).
Secure the safety switch cable in the hole (F) with a binding band.
○
Retighten the setscrews (E).
○
If there is no clearance between
the cloth plate and the throat
plate and between the cloth
plate and the rear cover, ab-
normal noise can be produced
during operation.
○
Assemble the cloth plate com-
ponents while preventing the
safety switch cable from being
bent forcibly.
