The function Update CF card reads out data that have not yet been
read out. After read-out, the data will be marked as read in the
instrument, but not deleted.
The function Backup
! CF card reads out all the data from the
internal memory, including those that had already been read out.
After read-out, the data are not marked as read in the recorder.
This means that they remain available for the function CF card
!
Update. The function Backup
! CF card is therefore ideal for test
and service work.
