4 Non-automotive movement of the vehicle
QwW This operating mode is prohibited on slopes.
If the vehicle needs to be moved
following the occurrence of a fault
affecting travel operation, proceed as
follows:
– Turn the switch latch to the "Off"
position and remove the key.
– Pull out the battery connector.
– Secure the vehicle to prevent
it rolling away.
– Open and remove the front cover (see
Chapter G).
– Lift off the motor cover (see
Chapter G).
– Unscrew the cylinder screws (4) as far
as the limit stop. This causes the
armature plate to be lifted by the nuts
(5), ventilating the brake.
IMPORTANT On reaching your destination,
return the braking system to its
original condition. The vehicle
must not be switched off when
the brake is being ventilated.
– Screw down the cylinder screws (4)
again as far as the limit stop.
The original braking condition has now been restored.
