Fitting the inside shield
1. Fit the inside shield (2) onto the
internal furniture (6) and secure
from below with the M3 fixing
screw (13).
2. Screw the M6 fixing screw (12)
into the lever handle.
3. Locking cylinder (16)
Align and tighten with the forend
locking stud.
With the c-lever wide plate version
(54mm), a spacer is fitted between the
internal furniture and inside shield to
provide improved plate support.
Special installation for particular
handle styles
With some particular handle styles, it is
not possible to slide the inside shield
over the inner handle once the latter
has been installed. The inside shield
must be pulled back during installation
and rotated 90°. Once the internal
furniture (6) has been fastened, the
inside shield (2) is put back onto the
internal furniture and secured with the
fixing screw (3).
