Parameter conguration
The real-time control bits and real-time status bits can be congured in phases 2, 3
and 4.
The assignment parameters contain the number of the parameter to be congured for
the related real-time bit.
During conguration it is to be noted that the bit number must be assigned rst
(S-0-0413, S-0-0414, S-0-0415, S-0-0416) before a corresponding IDN is assigned as
the real-time bit (S-0-0301, S-0-0303, S-0-0305, S-0-0307).
6.4.2 Conguration of real-time bits, SERCOS III
y S-0-1050.x.20 "IDN – assignment real-time bit": IDN of the parameter
that is to be assigned to the related real-time bit.
y S-0-1050.x.21 "Bit – assignment real-time bit": Denition of which
bit number of the parameter assigned is to be represented.
6.5 Signal control word and signal status word
6.5.1 Signal control word (S-0-0145)
Signals can be transferred from the controller to the drive in real-time in the signal
control word S-0-0145. The signal control word can be congured for the cyclic
transfer in the master data telegram (MDT). The signal control word is congured in
phase 2 and is activated on the transition to phase 3. An erroneous conguration will
result in a device error and it will not be possible to switch to phase 3. The conguration
parameters for the signal control word are described in the following table.
S-0-0027 Conguration list for signal control word
This list contains all parameter numbers that are contained in the signal control word.
The sequence of the parameter numbers in the list denes the signicance of the bits
in the signal status word. The rst parameter in the list denes bit 0, the last parameter
number bit 15. The parameter S-0-0328 denes the bit number from the related
parameter that is to be given in the signal status word.

S-0-0027 Conguration list for signal control word
The bit numbers for the parameters from S-0-0027 copied to the signal control word
(S-0-0145) are programmed in this conguration list. The sequence of the bit numbers
in the list is that same as the sequence of the signals in the signal control word.

The list of congurable parameters for the real-time status bits P3002 applies for the
conguration of the signal status word.
6.5.2 Signal status word (S-0-0144)
The drive status congured by the user can be represented in the signal status word
S-0-0144. The signal status word can be congured for the cyclic transfer in the drive
telegram (AT). The signal status word is congured in phase 2 and is activated on the
transition to phase 3. An erroneous conguration will result in a device error and it will
not be possible to switch to phase 3. The conguration parameters for the signal status
word are described in the following table.

This list contains all parameter numbers that are contained in the signal status word.

parameter that is to be given in the signal status word.
S-0-0328 Signal status word bit number assignment list
The bit numbers for the parameters from S-0-0026 copied to the signal status word
(S-0-0144) are programmed in this conguration list. The sequence of the bit numbers
in the list is that same as the sequence of the signals in the signal status word.
