Output data will be in one of the following formats.
< 80 ASCII character string
SD.DDDDDDDDESDD<nl>
SD.DDDDDDDDESDD,...,...,<nl>
SD.DDDDDDDDESDD<cr><nl>
SD.DDDDDDDDESDD,...,...,<cr><nl>
S Negative sign or positive sign
D Numeric digits
E Exponent
<nl> newline character
<cr> carriage return character
SCPI signal-oriented measurement commands
The signal-oriented measurement commands configure the instrument for measurement and acquire
measurement readings. You can use these high-level instructions to control the measurement
process. These commands are summarized in the following table.
Signal oriented measurement command summary
Command Description
:CONFigure:<function> <range>,
<resolution>
Configures instrument for measurements on the
specified function.
:CONFigure?
Returns active function.
:FETCh?
Requests latest readings.
:INITiate
Changes the state of the triggering system to
wait-for-trigger.
:READ?
Performs a measurement.
:MEASure:<function> <range>, <resolution>
Performs a :CONFigure: <function>, and a
:READ?.
