Use Table 3-1 as a quick reference guide for the IS/IT department. Please refer to the appro-
priate sections of the this manual as well as the Model 2701 User’s Manual for detailed expla-
nations of the information below.
To set the Model 2701 to use DHCP from the front panel:
Press SHIFT->ETHERNET->VIEW
Dashes will be displayed for Address, Subnet, and Gateway until the unit gets them from the
DHCP server.
To set the Model 2701 to use DHCP over the Ethernet, use the internal web page (refer to
“Check or set TCP/IP address over Ethernet” on page 3-8).
