Front-panel overview
The front panel of the DMM6500 is shown below. Descriptions of the controls on the front panel follow
the figure.

POWER switch
Turns the instrument on or off. To turn the instrument on, press
and hold the power switch. To turn it off, press and hold the power
switch again. The LED is green when the instrument is on and the
LED is amber when turned off.
HOME key
Returns the display to the Home screen.
