1 Select TAPE RVS..
1 Open the door of deck.
2 Insert a tape.
3 Close the door.
÷ Remove tape slack before loading.
÷ When recording is started, the tape is
transported in the direction selected in
this step.
÷ Wind the tape to the position where
recording is to be started.
1 Press the play key.
2 Press the play key again.
3 Stop key (7) playback.
(2 or 3 lights.)
To reverse the transport direction
Select the reverse mode.
Load a tape in deck.

Select the tape transport direction.

Set the recording condition.

This unit cannot record audio on High (Type ) and
Metal (Type
) cassette tapes.
Select an input source
other than TAPE
TUNER (Broadcasts)

The character information display shows
the recording input source.
÷ If a CD or MD has already been loaded, it starts to play now.
Press the 7 key to stop it.
1 Press the TAPE REC key to start recording.
2 Play (or tune) the input source to be recorded.
÷ The recording level is adjusted automatically.
÷ Recording stops automatically when the tape side (s) to be recorded have
been fully recorded.
÷ The recording onto MD is not available during recording onto TAPE.
Example:
To select the CD input
Select the source to be recorded.

Start recording.
