Step 3. Configure for Bench Top or Rack Mount Use
The multi-wavelength meter is shipped ready for bench-top use. To
configure the instrument for rack mount use, follow the steps below.
1 Ensure that the rack mount kit is complete

2 Remove the side trim strips.
3 Attach rack mount flange with three screws per side.
NOTE
You must have a rack mount kit to continue with this procedure. Refer to
Accessories on page 16.
NOTE
If any items are damaged or missing from the kit, contact the nearest
Keysight Technologies sales or service office to order a replacement kit.
Items within the kit are not individually available.

WARNING
Use only the screws the come with the rack mount kit. Longer screws
may damage the instrument, and shorter screws may be unsafe.
