A. Measurement Procedure: 100 kohm CT Classic Test
Refer to figure 3-38 for the following Step 1 to Step 23.
Step 1. Click the Preset group of My Favorite Setup.
Step 2. Select Example_CT preset group.
Step 3. Select 100 kohm CT (100 kohm CT Classic Test).
Step 4. Press Recall button.
Step 5. Pre-defined example 100 kohm CT classic test setup – Channel Definition
page opens.
Channel Definition page setups the SMUs and its measurement function.
Step 6. Make sure the Unit field is properly set.
Step 7. Press Measurement Setup tab.
Step 8. Make sure the Start, Stop and Step value is properly set.
Step 9. Pressing "ADC/Integ" button opens "A/D Converter & Integration Time
Setup" sub-window.
Step 10. Integration time can be set. Make sure the integration time uses PLC mode
for rejecting noise and performs accurate resistance measurement.
Close this sub-window.
Step 11. Make sure the cables are properly set as shown in the "Device used in the
example" part or your selection.
Close the lid of N1259A test fixture.
Start the measurement. (Click the Single button )
Step 12. The graph window pops up, and the measurement starts.
Step 13. You can see I-Rhi current versus V_Rhi graph in figure 3-39.
The regression line is automatically drawn, and the resistor value extracted
from the regression line parameter is displayed on the Parameter field.
