Continuous mode
Continuous mode generates repetitive pulse stream that toggles between two load levels.
The two load levels are main level (immediate or triggered) and transient level for current, voltage, power or
resistance. The period, frequency and duty cycle of the continuous pulse train are programmable.
Step 1– Configure the sequence properties
Configure the Sequencer Continuous accordingly. Refer to the below table for details.
Parameter Available Key Settings Description
Transient Setting (I

)
minimum to maximum Sets the transient voltage, current, resistance, or power level in voltage, ampere, ohms, or
watts.
Period/Frequency 8µ to 4 s / 0.25 to 10000
Hz
Sets the transient frequency or period in Hz and seconds.
Duty Cycle 1.8 to 98.2% Sets the transient duty cycle.

Power Mode
Fix, Stp, or Lst Sets the current/voltage/resistance/power mode. This determines what happens to the
input current/voltage/resistance/power when the system is initiated or triggered.
Default is Fix.
Action required:
Press Curr Mode, Volt Mode, Res Mode, or Pow Mode to toggle between Fix, Stp, and Lst.
Fix (Fixed) Keeps the input at its immediate value.
Stp (Step) Steps the input to the triggered level when a trigger occurs
Lst (List) Causes the input to follow the list values when a trigger occurs.
