4 Turn the locking screw counter-clockwise to release the hard disk.
5 Pull out the hard disk.
To Declassify Instrument Memory
All sensitive instrument information is written to the instrument’s hard disk. To
declassify instrument memory:
•Optional. Press the Clear button in the N1000A’s Calibration dialog box to clear
mainframe user timebase calibration data and optical dark level calibration
data.
• Turn off the instrument and remove the hard disk.
