Smart Cruise Control (SCC)
Warning volume
A: Driver assistance
1 Warning volume
2 High
3 Medium
4 Low
5 Off
With the vehicle on, select Settings →
Vehicle → Driver assistance → Warn -
ing volume from the infotainment sys -
tem screen to change the Warning
Volume High , Medium , Low or Off for
Smart Cruise Control.
However, even if
Off is selected, the
Warning Volume of Smart Cruise Control
will not turn off but the volume will
sound as
Low .
If you change the Warning Volume, the
warning volume of other Driver Assis
-
tance systems may change.
NOTICE
If the vehicle is restarted, Warning Vol -
ume will maintain the last setting.
Smart Cruise Control operation
Operating conditions
Smart Cruise Control will operate when
the following conditions are satisfied.
Basic function
僅 The gear is in D (Drive)
僅 The driver's door is closed
僅 EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) is not
applied
僅 Your vehicle speed is within the oper
-
ating speed range
- When there is no vehicle in front:
10~180 km/h (5~110 mph)
- when there is a vehicle in front:
0~180 km/h (0~110 mph)
僅 ESC (Electronic Stability Control) or
ABS is on
僅 ESC (Electronic Stability Control) or
ABS is not controlling the vehicle
僅 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
brake control is not operating
僅 Remote Smart Parking Assist brake
control is not operating (if equipped)
僅 The vehicle is not in a power down
status (Power down indicator light is
not illuminated)
NOTICE
At a stop, if there is no vehicle in front of
your vehicle, the function will turn on
when the brake pedal is depressed.
Overtaking Acceleration Assist
Overtaking Acceleration Assist will oper -
ate when the turn signal indicator is
turned on to the left (left-hand drive) or
turned on to the right (right-hand drive)
while Smart Cruise Control is operating,
and the following conditions are satis
-
fied:
僅 Your vehicle speed is above 60 km/h
(40 mph)
僅 The hazard warning flasher is off
僅 A vehicle is detected in front of your
vehicle
僅 Deceleration is not needed to main
-
tain distance with the vehicle in front
